NVR Consultant Outcomes Publication

• We will refresh the trust and consultant level results for elective infra-renal AAAs and carotid endarterectomy on our website next Friday, 23rd August.
• If you are a consultant surgeon working in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland and have not provided your consent to have your results published in 2019, please let the NVR know by 23rd August so your results can be shown.
• If you are an interventional radiologist working in Leeds or Sheffield and have not provided your consent to have your results published in 2019, please let the NVR know by Friday so your results can be shown.

Validation of NVR Data by Vascunet

• The Vascular Society has agreed, in principle, for the NVR data to be externally validation by Vascunet (the collaboration of European vascular registries).
• The validation will probably take place in late 2019 and/or Spring 2020.
• The Vascunet team will spend a couple of days cross-checking NVR data will hospital records.
• Please contact us if your hospital would like to be part of this validation exercise.
