2nd PAD QIP Webinar

PAD QIP Webinar Flyer (pdf – 541kB)

The 2nd PAD QIP webinar in collaboration with the Leicester Vascular Institute will take place on Tuesday 20th October.

The first session will run from 12:00 to 13:00 and is open only to the early adopter centres, while the second session (from 13:30 to 16:30) is open to all healthcare professionals in the UK, involved in the care of vascular patients.

Please note that a separate registration is required for each session but we hope that you –as early adopters– will attend both. Please disseminate information about the webinars within your team. To register for the early adopter session please click here and for the open session here. All members of the vascular team are encouraged to attend.

Early adopter session

In order to share experiences as part of the PAD QIP collaborative, a representative from each of the 11 early adopter centres should give a 3-minute presentation regarding their plans to start the implementation phase of the PAD QIP. This should be in the form of a 2-3 slide PowerPoint presentation and cover the “Plan” phase of the PDSA cycle, discussed in the 1st webinar (one change that will be put into action, by whom, when, where, which part of the patient pathway and which primary and secondary driver it refers to). The presentation should be emailed to padqip@rcseng.ac.uk by Monday 12th October.

In order to produce the updated dashboard of emergency revascularisation procedures performed for CLTI at the 11 early adopter centres, an extract of the NVR will be taken on 21st September. Centres that do not upload data contemporaneously are kindly requested to upload their data on CLTI patients prior to that date. The records do not need to be “submitted”, as we analyse pre-procedure and procedure data but not outcomes at this stage.

New CLTI Database

Based on feedback from the 1st PAD QIP webinar, we have been working on a new database for the 11 early adopter centres, that will allow us to capture more details of the CLTI patient journey. The 1st version of the database was circulated on 6th July 2020. Based on the comments received, we are developing an updated version that will be shared shortly. We are looking forward to your comments prior to finalising it and presenting it at the webinar.
